Hi, I’m Ron, and welcome to my blog. I am an avid cyclist, and when I have free time, you bet I’ll be out there on the road on my bike. You will notice most of my blogs are focused around the bike. I work as a Customer Support Engineer for a network security company, so naturally, I spend a lot of time online.
Hi Ron, I found your post about migrating from Blogger to Word Press. https://sevencyclist.wordpress.com/2009/07/05/wordpress-or-blogger/ I’m in the process of trying to do the same for my wife’s blog, but am having a hell of hard time in getting it done.
Is there any way you can help me? I created a new host account at Go Daddy, they helped me load Word Press onto the account, which will probably take a day or so, but the main problem seems to be that the data saved from Blogger is in .XML format but Go Daddy wants me to upload in .SQL format, and since i’m not a high level IT guy, it’s impossible to convert XML to SQL.
HELP!!!! Any thoughts?

Sorry, I just use the standard web-based wordpress, so I’m not much help there. I don’t know SQL either.
Dear Ron,
I came across your blog recently. I wanted to ask if you would please consider placing a link to my website called Biking.com?
It is a resource for anything and everything bicycling, cycling and trail riding.
If you think it would be of use to your visitors, would you please consider adding a link to my website on your page.
http://www.biking.com Biking.com – the complete biking resource.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Hi Ron, I am coming from the UK to work in Livermore for a year. I’m a big cycling fan and am planning to comute by bike from Tracy to Livermore. If you could spare a few minutes I’ve got a bunch of questions about cycling in the bay area. As you’re a local cyclist I’d really appreciate some advice. I can send you a more detailed communication by email. Regards, Paul.
Hello Ron!
I see that you are quite the avid cyclist. I was wondering if you use any specific supplements, energy drinks, or anything to help with performance?
I work for an all-natural sports drink company, known as Mighty Sport. I don’t cycle, but I personally use it prior to and after martial arts training. I know it has benefitted me in terms of energy and recovery, but I’m wondering if you would be willing to try it for you own uses and report on your experiences with it on your blog? If you’re interested, please reach out to me and I’ll send you a few samples to try out. If you end up liking it, I can send you more for free!
Thanks,
Alex
